Dear Parishioners and friends,
Our parish rejoices with some very exciting news. Several months ago, we applied for a grant to help fund much needed work on the masonry of our beautiful, historic church building. Here is the press release announcing our reward:
Our Lady of Lourdes Parish has received $175,000.00
from the National Fund for Sacred Places, a program of Partners for
Sacred Places in collaboration with the National Trust for Historic
Preservation.
This funding will support the masonry repair and restoration of the church building. Our Lady of Lourdes Parish is one of 30 organizations to
receive a total of over $8.7 million in grant funding that provides
training, planning grants, technical assistance, capacity-building
support, and capital grants to congregations of all faiths.
Since its inception, the National Fund has awarded or pledged over $33
million to 168 community-serving congregations representing 28 faith
traditions across 45 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

This is a matching grant. That means we have the challenge of raising $175,000.00 for this urgent, significant project. I know we can do this! More details to follow.

PSR CLASSES children’s classes have begun. The next class is on Saturday, October 25th, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. You can still register your children for classes after the Sunday Masses or in the parish office on Saturday mornings.
CONFIRMATION CLASS SUNDAY, October 26th, from 2:15 – 4:15 p.m. in the basement classrooms in the parish house.
ADULT SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION CLASSES begin on Sunday, October 19th, from 11:00 – 12:15 a.m. in the basement classrooms in the parish house.
LAS CLASES DE LA DOCTRINA ha empezado. La próxima clase es el sábado, 25 de octubre, de 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Pueden registrarse a sus niños después de las misas dominicales o en la oficina parroquial los sábados de la mañana.
CLASE DE CONFIRMACION el domingo, 26 de octubre de2:15 – 4:15 p.m. en las aulas del sótano de la casa parroquial.
LAS CLASES DE PREPARACION SACRAMENTAL PARA ADULTOS van a empezar el domingo, 19 de octubre, de 11:00 – 12:15 a.m. en las aulas del sótano de la casa parroquial.

1. Llenar la hoja de datos
2. Traer copia del acta de nacimiento
3. Traer copia del permiso del parroco si son de otra parroquia
4. Participar en la platica pre-bautismal
5. Seleccionar padrinos que son activos en la iglesia y comulgan con frecuencia.
6. Hablar con el Padre Jose para fijar la fecha del bautismo
