Our Lady of Lourdes has been awarded a $175,000 grant from the National Fund for Historic Places as described in the news article below. The grant is a matching grant. This means we have the challenge of raising $175,000 for this urgent project to fund masonry repair and restoration of the church building. Consider donating to help with this important project!!

Dear Parishioners and friends,
This weekend, we welcome representatives from the community of Missionaries Servants of the Word to promote their evangelization magazine Never Lost that contains several testimonies of how God continues to work in each person in ordinary and extraordinary ways. They ask for a voluntary donation to help them continue with ministry. Thanks for your collaboration.
We will also offer the Blessing of Throats after Masses this weekend.
Wednesday is our patronal feast, the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. It is also the world day of the sick. Masses will be at 4:00 PM in English and 7:00 PM in Spanish. The sacrament of the anointing of the sick will be administered to the elderly, chronically ill, and sick.
The following Wednesday 18 February is Ash Wednesday. Masses with the distribution of Ashes will be at 4:00 PM in English and 7:00 PM in Spanish. Beginning Friday, 20 February, Stations of the Cross will be prayed at 6:00 PM in English and 7:00 PM in Spanish.

PSR CLASSES children’s classes have begun. The next class is on Saturday, 14 Feb, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. You can still register your children for classes after the Sunday Masses or in the parish office on Saturday mornings.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
Hoy, los Misioneros Servidores de La Palabra estarán promoviendo su revista de Evangelización Inquietud Nueva que contiene temas para los padres de familia, los jóvenes, incluso también para los niños. Solo piden una donación voluntaria que los ayuda para continuar en este llamado y poder llegar a más familias para que sigan conociendo la riqueza de nuestra fe católica. Bendiciones.
El miércoles 11 es el día de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, nuestra fiesta patronal. A la vez, es el día mundial de los enfermos. Vamos a administrar el sacramento de la unción de los enfermos que es para ancianos, personas con enfermedades crónicas, y personas enfermas durante la misa en español a las 7:00 PM.
Y el miércoles 18 es miércoles de ceniza. Las misas con la imposición de ceniza serán a las 4:00 PM en inglés, y a las 7:00 PM en español. Empezando el viernes 20 de febrero, rezaremos el vía crucis a las 7:00 PM.

2. Traer copia del acta de nacimiento
3. Traer copia del permiso del parroco si son de otra parroquia
4. Participar en la platica pre-bautismal
5. Seleccionar padrinos que son activos en la iglesia y comulgan con frecuencia.
6. Hablar con el Padre Jose para fijar la fecha del bautismo
